Blog Part 21 - Blisworth Festival

Blisworth is always a worthy event, and this year was no exception.

We have to thank and praise the organisers, people from the village and surrounding areas who made the whole weekend a very enjoyable one.

The weather was surprisingly perfect all weekend.

Speaking to one resident with a large banner outside his property it was evident that they were protesting about a planned building of a freight terminus depot near to Blisworth which could have a detrimental effect on traffic and parking in the area, so we will have to see what happens to this in the coming years.

Yet again there were a fantastic array of boats selling some very unique gifts and craftware, vintage items and some lovely food, ice cream and beer to be had. Music from the field and wharf played through the evening until late.
